Twisted Fate

Twisted Fate

Twisted Fate is a high-energy, five-piece rock band based out of the Pittsburgh and Jeannette, Pennsylvania area. Formed in 2010, the band has built a reputation across Western Pennsylvania as the ultimate 80s rock cover act, known for their powerful harmony guitars, soaring vocals, and massive arena-rock sound.

Band Origin and History

The foundation of Twisted Fate traces back to the late 1980s and early 1990s Pittsburgh local music scene. Co-founders Michael Shusteric (lead/rhythm guitar), Karl Lawson (lead/rhythm guitar), and Ted Boyd (drums) originally played together in the 80s heavy metal and rock band Striknyne. After several years away from the stage, the trio reunited to build a new project. They completed their lineup by recruiting bass player James Pompei (formerly of Tangled Grace) and powerhouse frontman Chuck Stull (formerly of 2nd St.).

The Sound and Repertoire

While Twisted Fate primarily captures the nostalgia of 80s and 90s arena rock, their live sets span classic rock, hair metal, and contemporary heavy tracks. Fans attending a Twisted Fate Rocks show can expect faithful, hard-hitting renditions of bands like Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Guns N' Roses, and AC/DC.
Beyond their status as an elite cover band, Twisted Fate writes and performs original music. They compiled their original material into a debut CD titled Forgot To Live, which has been featured on local syndicates like the Pennsylvania Rock Show and Mega Rock Radio.
